Trendy Wrapping Paper

Oddly enough, this wrapping paper post was inspired by an outfit. I spotted it at the mall the other day with my mom who commented, “That does not go together,” while I was at the same time thinking, “That’s so cute…I want that.” The outfit was a pair of floral pants and a striped top. It was a little wacky, but in a good, unexpected, trendy kinda way. Good but unexpected but trendy. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

I was so diggin the mixed prints that I decided to incorporate them into my latest wrapping project. Who knew gift-wrap could be so fashionable. Now that you see them together, florals + stripes, when the colors compliment each other, look totally appropriate. Not at all like a three year old put them together. Don’t you agree?
