Halloween Wrapping

Halloween is probably the best holiday to wrap presents for because there are so many crazy accessories to make use of. You can tie on a mask or pretty much any costume accessory to create an unexpected, whimsical presentation. I also love the idea of using a witch’s hat as a wine bag. If you’re going to a Halloween party, this is a simple and fun way to present the hostess with a bottle of wine.

The spider web wrap is a little trickier and takes a bit of patience, but the striking end result makes it worthwhile. To get the web, I twisted nine pipe cleaners together. I used three pipe cleaners bent in half on both the outer and inner rings. Then, I crisscrossed three straight pipe cleaners in the middle into a star shape. Just twisting the pipe cleaners together should be enough to hold it, but I also used a glue gun to help anchor the shape I wanted.
