“What do I get my boyfriend for his birthday?” It’s a topic that often arouses sentiments of stress, uncertainty and insecurity. Instead of me offering you my best guesses, I’ve gone straight to the source and enlisted the help of a guy who speaks the truth. Here are the things he really wanted for his birthday:

 1. Stadium City Print ($40 unframed, $180 framed) –Reminds me of ballpark franks, ice cream served in mini helmets and the untouchable record of the best team in baseball (Da Yanks). It’s something I’d be happy to show-off to friends, but also something that my girlfriend wouldn’t hate to have hanging on the wall.

2. Any golfer will appreciate a good golf ball, and Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls ($47) are the Cadillac of the bunch. This gift is sure to be hole in one (lame sports pun intended).

3. Every man needs a pair of Jordans. You can be sure that yours would appreciate these stylin’ kicks ($90).

4. The ESPN 30 for 30 films document some of the biggest and most memorable stories in sports. You can’t go wrong with either boxed set, but my personal favorite is volume 1 ($32). I’m a big fan of the Reggie Miller episode that documents his utter domination of the Knicks along with the quirky, troubled story of Ricky Williams. It’s a must-have for any sports fanatic.
