September Birthday Roundup -for the girls

1. The smoking slipper is probably this fall’s biggest shoe trend. Just about every shoe brand has their version, but I LOVE this polka-dot calf hair version ($50) from the Gap. At just $50, these babies are a steal. If my birthday were in September, these would be on my list!

2. My girl Ina is a rockstar. Her recipes are always approachable and full of fresh ingredients. Plus, the photography in this book is beautiful…it makes it worth owning the cookbook ($19) as opposed to just googling recipes.

Pair the cookbook with a cooking tool or an apron. Anthropologie has the cutest aprons I have found. Seriously though, if this apron ($32) were an actual dress, I might buy it…

3. PJ’s are a fairly safe gift. This cotton Victoria’s Secret set ($50) comes in three lengths and a million patterns.

4. I’ve been coveting this cosmetic bag ($38) since I saw it at the Ted Baker stand in the Heathrow Airport. I’m partial to the black and white but it also comes in a pretty light pink.

You could certainly gift this solo, but you could also fill it with some fun makeup like this Tarte lipgloss set  ($40).
