I generally like most things that sparkle, which may be why this DIY project is my favorite yet. It’s easy and cheap to put together, but the end result is pretty striking. With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, these shiny accessories will really glam up your table.
OR, stick these guys in a simple white box and you’ve got yourself a cute little hostess gift.
How to make them:
1. Make sure your hurricane jars or candlesticks are clean and dry.
2. Paint a thin layer of Mod Podge onto your glass hurricane jars or wooden candlesticks.
3. Quickly sprinkle on the glitter (before the Mod Podge dries!). Don’t be shy with the glitter…sprinkle on a lot and lightly shake off the excess.
4. Wait 20 minutes while it dries.
5. Touch up any holes.
6. Wait 24 hours for the glitter candles to dry completely.
7. Spray on Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer.
